What should I send?

The same five things your claim page asks for, in the same order, and how to send them.

What your claim page asks for

Once you have checked your claim you get a link to your claim page by email and WhatsApp. It lists these five things, in this order, and shows each one as Still needed, Partly done or Done. This page says the same, so nothing is a surprise.

  • Letter of AuthorityStill needed

Step 1, before anything else. Sign it using the link in our email or message. It takes a minute and lets us ask your energy supplier for your contract records, so you may not need to find them yourself.

  • Your energy contract, every pageStill needed

The agreement for your gas or electricity, often emailed by your supplier or broker. A photo of each page is fine. If you can't find it, we can ask your supplier.

  • Energy bills, every pageStill needed

At least 4 for a 1 or 2 year contract, at least 6 for 3 years or longer, ideally two from each year of the contract. Photos or PDFs are fine.

  • Who arranged your contractStill needed

If a broker or consultant set up your energy contract, send an email, letter or quote that names them. Just the name is fine too: reply to our email.

  • Your supplier's terms and conditionsIf you have it

Only if you have them to hand. We can ask your supplier.

Send your documents

On your claim page, under Send your documents, pick what you are sending (Bills, Contract, From your broker, or Something else) and add the files. Photos or PDFs, every page. Up to 25 MB each. Only our team can see them.

Easier on the phone? Reply to our WhatsApp with photos, or forward emails to your account manager. We file them on your claim for you.

Where to find them

  • Your supplier's website or app, the same login you use to see your bills: Documents or Contracts for the agreement and welcome letter, Bills or Billing history for the bills. The supplier's own PDF gives the best chance of success.
  • Any bill, old or new, shows your supplier, meter number and account number, which is all we need to ask the supplier for the rest.
  • The broker's name is often on the contract itself; otherwise their emails or quote.

Missing something?

That is normal. Send what you have; a partial set is fine and we will tell you if anything is missing. Anything still missing we request from your supplier using your Letter of Authority, and your account manager goes through it with you on the call.

Under a minute to find out.

Seven details, under a minute. Nothing to pay, nothing to sign today.
